Tag: Spiritual Belonging

Spiritual Belonging describes the experience of being connected to faith, worship, community, sacred relationship, and Real Jesus without requiring surrender of conscience, personhood, agency, or differentiation.

Within the Captivity Lens, spiritual belonging becomes unsafe when access to community, identity, care, or relationship with God is made contingent on compliance with human authority. Belonging can then become a mechanism of control through conditional acceptance, exclusion, exile, interpretive dominance, or fear of spiritual loss.

Healthy spiritual belonging allows connection without possession and faith without captivity.
