Spiritual Physics is a survivor-authored Isaiah 61 Ministries framework for mapping boundaries, authority, access, movement, and consequence within spiritual relationships and sacred space. It asks who is permitted to occupy which relational and spiritual territory, what authority actually belongs there, and what occurs when human authority crosses a boundary it does not possess.
The framework distinguishes human relational space from God-space.
Pastors, clinicians, counselors, family members, spiritual leaders, intimate partners, and other human beings may participate in bounded spiritual relationship. They may teach, pray, witness, accompany, counsel, interpret Scripture, offer care, and share spiritual life within the limits of their actual authority and the survivor’s consent.
None of those roles grants unrestricted access to the survivor’s sacred interior.
Human authority does not become sacred authority because it uses sacred language.
Within Spiritual Physics, Real Jesus remains the only authority permitted unrestricted access to the survivor’s sacred interior. Human beings may approach that interior relationally only within appropriate boundaries; they do not possess it, mediate ownership of it, or acquire authority to enter it through role, expertise, intimacy, spiritual status, or claimed good intention.
The framework therefore distinguishes:
invitation from entitlement,
presence from possession,
spiritual fellowship from spiritual intrusion,
guidance from occupation,
witness from mediation,
human interpretation from divine authority,
and consensual spiritual relationship from coercive access.
Spiritual Physics also examines consequence.
When human authority crosses into God-space, the resulting harm cannot always be understood merely as disagreement, poor boundaries, inappropriate self-disclosure, or an unusually intense survivor response.
The architecture itself must be examined:
What space was entered?
Who had authority there?
Was access given?
What boundary was crossed?
What did the crossing require the survivor to surrender?
What happened when the survivor attempted to restore the boundary?
This is especially important where coercive architecture has taught a survivor that another person’s spiritual confidence, clinical authority, relational intimacy, or use of Jesus’ name constitutes permission.
It does not.
Entitlement to enter does not equal permission to enter.
Spiritual Physics therefore makes visible forms of spiritual trespass that can remain difficult to name when human authority and divine authority have been collapsed.
It restores the distinction:
human authority remains human,
the survivor remains sovereign,
and God-space remains God-space.
The framework does not prohibit spiritual relationship.
It makes genuine spiritual relationship more distinguishable from coercive intrusion by preserving the boundaries necessary for fellowship, consent, differentiation, and sacred sovereignty to coexist.
