Tag: Survivor-Authored Provenance
Survivor-Authored Provenance names the visible origin of knowledge when the language, distinctions, frameworks, and field formation arise from survivor witness rather than being first generated by an outside professional or institutional system.
Within the Isaiah 61 Ecosystem, survivor-authored provenance preserves the relationship between lived experience, pattern recognition, embodied knowing, theological discernment, documentation, and the later frameworks built from that knowledge. The work may become useful to clinicians, clergy, researchers, advocates, or institutions without those fields becoming its origin.
This provenance does not require unlimited disclosure. The survivor does not have to surrender privacy, identity, or personal access in order for authorship to remain visible. Nor does professional recognition retroactively become the source of what was already known.
The survivor is not merely the subject of the knowledge. She is part of its authorship and origin.
